Payne, Pinehurst #2, NC
I arrived before dawn at Pinehurst 2, standing at the 18th hole with my camera in hand, heart racing with anticipation. The cool, crisp air surrounded me in a serene quiet. Each visit here feels unique.
As the first rays of sunlight painted the sky in soft pinks and lavenders, the "Golden Hour" turned the landscape into a photographer's paradise. The tall pine trees stood proud, their dark silhouettes contrasting against the pastel sky, while the sweet scent of pine filled the air.
With each passing moment, the colors grew more vibrant, and I adjusted my camera to capture the beauty unfolding before me. As the sun rose, it cast warm oranges across the landscape, making the trees glow like they were on fire.
One shot caught my eye—when the sun peeked over the trees, its golden light created a star effect around Payne, as if to declare, “I’m ready for another day!”
When the sun fully broke the horizon, I felt exhilarated. The beauty of Pinehurst 2 at sunrise was breathtaking, and the images I captured will last forever.
