Cedar Falls - Asheboro, NC 0466

I’m amazed by the abundance of beautiful landscape opportunities in my local area. Cedar Falls in Asheboro, North Carolina, is no exception. A short drive from my home in Seven Lakes led me to this gem, which is easily accessible. Initially, I wasn't overly excited about the trip, but that changed as soon as I caught my first glimpse of the falls. The wide-open, breathtaking landscape filled me with anticipation.

Before unpacking my gear, I walked down to the river’s edge and noticed how shallow it was. I returned to my car to grab my hip waders and camera gear backpack. I then made my way to the riverbank and started the trek upstream to the falls. It took me a little while to get comfortable walking in the water, but I made good progress.

Being in the water offered a unique perspective, and the anticipation of capturing the elusive beauty of Cedar Falls fueled my creative spirit. The waterfall cascaded gracefully down a rocky precipice, its crystalline waters sparkling in the radiant sunlight. Moss-covered boulders framed the scene, adding an ethereal touch to the landscape.

I was overwhelmed by the breathtaking sight and inspired by the sheer number of “stories” I could tell through my camera. This quickly became one of my favorite locations. I experimented with various angles, capturing the falls from multiple perspectives, each photo reflecting nature's artistry in a profound way.

Lost in the rhythm of my exploration, I lost track of time. Eventually, I began my trek downstream, reluctantly bidding farewell to the mesmerizing beauty of Cedar Falls that had captivated me.

I hope the images I captured resonate with you as they did with me. Becoming a successful photographer is a dream for many, and I take pride in knowing my work is displayed in homes and businesses. I pursue this dream part-time, and much of my motivation and inspiration comes from your feedback and the acknowledgment of the images that interest you. I am determined to continue my journey toward becoming a full-time landscape artist, creating beautiful images that bring joy to people's lives.
