Barnes Creek. Troy, NC 7646

Barnes Creek Falls is a hidden gem in Montgomery County, Troy, NC, with trails on both sides of the creek for varied viewpoints. 

After a quick Google search, I was curious to check it out. Upon arrival, I explored the area for interesting perspectives and found a great spot away from the main falls. I carefully navigated the slick rocks to set up my camera and captured some beautiful images, including one of my favorites—simple, elegant, and intimate.

In my excitement to leave, I slipped on a wet rock and fell face-first, but thankfully, I only cracked my lens hood and bruised my pride. It could have been worse!
